Charity work.
Michael’s greatest passion is supporting the most vulnerable children in our society. In his spare time Michael raises funds for children’s charities in the North West and, to date, has generated over £12 million through his personal giving, fundraising, and introductions. In November 2015 Michael was recognised by Variety, the children’s charity, with a Legends of Industry award for his services to charity. In January 2016 he was honoured with an MBE for Services to Children and in July 2020 was awarded Freedom of the City of London. In July 2024, was made an Honorary Doctor of Social Science for outstanding contribution to charitable work from the University of Bolton, becoming Dr Michael Josephson MBE”.

Guess what? We did it AGAIN! Yet another million pound plus fundraiser, with an incredible £1,081,227 raised for some amazing causes.
The pressure was on, but we all brought our A-game and managed to secure huge amounts of money for some very worthy charities. The guest list was something special; TV legend Graham Norton, West End star Marisha Wallace, Kelvin & Liz Fletcher, Jorgie Porter, plus my good friends Christopher Biggins and Heather Small, among many others. We also had showstopping performances from 90s icon Chesney Hawkes and the massively talented Gabrielle.
£1,081,227 is such a significant amount of money, and it will go to some amazing causes, including the five main beneficiary charities from the evening: Variety, the Children’s Charity, The Anne Frank Trust, Mahdlo Youth Zone, Rainbow and the Seashell Trust. Plus, I will also be making sure that smaller charities and causes do not get missed out. Stay tuned to follow where the money goes!
